The Cambodian-American community survived genocide, displacement, and resettlement to build new lives across the United States — and especially here in Southern California. Forty years on, our culture is at risk of fading from the next generation's daily life.

Our story
Cambodian-American operators with deep roots in Long Beach & Greater Los Angeles.
Khmer Rising is co-founded by Cambodian-Americans who share the language, the food, the temples, and the inheritance of our community. Lori Tann is the face of the brand — 15 years on-camera as a TV host, broadcaster, and MC. Patrick Tagudar runs production, strategy, and operations. Sinara Sagn chairs our Foundation and leads grant strategy.
We believe Khmer stories deserve the same production quality, the same professional polish, and the same platform reach as anyone else's — and we built Khmer Rising to deliver exactly that.
